I'm Not.

By Phoebe Pike

Another attempt at poetry

Do you still dream about her touch?

Where is the man I adore?

You have stolen too much.

I can see that it's me you ignore.

I'm not going to be that girl anymore.

You're not going to break my heart.

My heart is still on the floor.

When will your love start?

I'm not going to be another girl to be lost.

No more lies and hidden lovers.

You're a thief but this time it's going to cost.

I can see through those covers.

You're not the one I love.

You never were.
